Disability Philanthropy Forum: Disability and Labor Justice Webinar
On February 8, 2024, Inevitable Foundation’s Co-Founder Marisa Torelli-Pedevska and Accelerate Fellow Monica Lucas joined a conversation with Mona Abhari and Joan Morris from United for Respect, and Rebecca Vallas from National Academy of Social Insurance to learn why disabled leadership is crucial for labor rights organizing and how funders can support disability-inclusive labor movements.
Cooling Station
On July 17, 2023 we provided a cooling station on the WGA and SAG-AFTRA picket line at Disney Studios. Our mist fans and free cooling towels helped picketers beat the scorching heat.
Accessible Picket Line
On May 8, 2023 we supported disabled picketers at the WGA strike by providing snacks, chairs, and accessible bathrooms at the picket lines—helping them better focus on their fight!

Comic-Con: Disability Representation On and Off Screen Panel
On Thursday July 21st at 10am PST, we will host a panel at Comic-Con that will explore disability representation both on-screen and behind the camera, and will serve to raise the profile of disability as an essential pillar of diversity, as well as celebrating the diversity that exists within the disability community.

Paramount Day of Service 2021
Inevitable Foundation was lucky to be selected as one of 21 different volunteer opportunities for their annual Day of Service. We had a wonderful time talking with their team about disability representation in Hollywood. This panel, in partnership with Inevitable Foundation and the WGAW’s Disabled Writers Committee, explores the experiences of disabled film and TV writers, from the challenges of navigating the entertainment industry with a disability to the role accessibility plays in their writing process. Hear a range of perspectives about the various barriers disabled writers face, and learn how non-disabled writers can make the storytelling process more hospitable and inclusive for disabled writers to thrive.
