Lou Mensah
Lou (she/her) is a British-Ghanaian audio-maker, producer, and founder of Shade Podcast, who has carved out a space all her own in audio. Through image-focused interviews with curators, artists, writers, and activists, she's mined the intersection between race and art.
In 2021, Lou tackled the most salient images of the Black Lives Matter uprisings; recognized for their impact by the British Podcast Awards. She has partnered with Bloomberg Connects, Hauser & Wirth, Tate Modern, and Frieze. Her first audio documentary Joy of Bundle recently aired on the BBC.
