Ella Watts

Ella (she/her) is a multi-award winning writer, director, and producer whose body of work is an explosion of radically inclusive storytelling. She's the co-creator of Doctor Who: Redacted and the producer and director of Eliza: A Robot Story. She's currently directing multiple serialized audio dramas for Marvel Comics on the app “Marvel Move.”

Ella is internationally renowned as the "Queen of Audio Fiction'' (The Guardian), and is a passionate advocate for independent podcasting, especially audio drama. She has written for a variety of beloved podcasts, including independent sitcom Wooden Overcoats and more than half of the first season of Doctor Who: Redacted.
